Manila—(PHStocks)—Local shares opened the week on a positive note, with the mainboard Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index gaining 0.92% or 47.13 points to close at 5,167.2 points. The wider all-share index recovered its loss last week, edging up 0.74% to 3,401.6 points.

All counters except the Property index continued their rally, led by the Services segment, which gained 3.07%. The Mining and Oil sector went up by 1.08%, while the Industrials increased by 0.69%.

Trading volume reached 2.58 billion valued at PhP5.63 billion. There were 87 gainers against 61 losers, while 46 stocks remained flat.
