PH Stocks Continue Climb

Manila—(PHStocks)—Philippine stocks were up for the third straight session Tuesday, 24 June, as investors move to realign their portfolios near quarter-end.

The mainboard Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) went up by 0.46% or 31.08 points to close today’s session at 6,793.07. The Holding Firms sector led the gainers, posting a 1.04% growth. The Services  index was nearly flat, while the Mining and Oil sector lost 0.33%.

There were 110 gainers against 69 losers, while 45 stocks were flat. Volume turnover reached 967 million shares valued at PhP7.67 billion. Foreign buying totaled PhP4 billion, while foreign selling reached PhP3.3 billion, for a net buy of PhP700 million.
