PH Stocks Recover, Up 1.5%

Philippine stocks recovered Thursday, with the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) closing at 1.5% or 58.85 points higher to 3,990.49 points. All but the Services sector posted gains, led by the Property index, which grew 3.25% or 48.1 points to 1,525.65.

About 1.087 billion shares were traded, valued at PhP7.46 billion. Gainers led losers 87 to 48, while 46 stocks remain flat.
