PH Stocks Hit New Record
Manila—(PHStocks)—Philippine stocks rallied on Monday as the market enters the earnings report season. Fueled by investors optimism in the fourth quarter and full-year 2012 financial performance of local players, the mainboard Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) made history yet again as it gained 0.67% to close today’s trading at 6,565.23, a new record for the local bourse. The wider All-Shares index, meanwhile, gained 0.45% to close at 4,119.95 as investors across the board try to take advantage of this positive trend.
