Board Approves Acquisition of China Bank Savings Common Shares

Makati–(PHStocks)–The Board of Directors of China Banking Corporation (PSE: CHIB) approved, confirmed and ratified yesterday the authority of the Bank to acquire 2,842 common shares of China Bank Savings Inc. (formerly The Manila Banking Corp.) by negotiated transaction with the named shareholders who have already represented their intention to sell their shares.
