Sambon to Set Up Manufacturing Facility in Clark Freeport

Clark Freeport—(PHStocks)—Korean firm Sambon Precision and Electronics Co. Ltd is set to establish a manufacturing facility inside Clark Freeport, pouring in an initial $3 million worth of investment.

It was formalized through the signing of lease agreement between company president Joontaik Jang and Clark Development Corp. (CDC) President Arthur Tugade.

“Our firm manufactures electronic components such as speakers, earphones and headphones. We also supply electronic equipment to companies such as JVC of Japan,” Sambon Assistant Vice President for Marketing Evangeline Tejada said in a press statement.

It presently has a $10 million investment in China with more than 2,000 workers.

In Clark, Sambon’s facility will be located at the commercial district along Claro M. Recto Highway. It will begin manufacturing audio components by July or August this year and shall initially hire 100 workers.

“We chose Clark because of the zealousness of CDC administration and the utmost hospitality in their no-nonsense business dealings,” Tejada underscored.
