PLDT Issues 1.6M Shares to Digitel Shareholders
Makati–(PHStocks)–Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PSE: TEL) has issued a total of 1,606,160 common shares to PCD Nominee Corporation for the settlement of the purchase price of 2,517,806,269 common shares of Digitel Telecommunications Phils. Inc. (Digitel) tendered by the Digitel minority stockholders under the tender offer conducted by PLDT, and which opted to receive payment of the purchase price in the form of PLDT common shares.
