IMI Receives Special Award from Philips Lighting
Laguna—(PHStocks)—Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (PSE: IMI), a leading provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and power semiconductor assembly and tests services, announced today that it has received from Philips Lighting Digital Projection Lighting (DPL) a special award for achieving 100 percent product delivery in July 2012, thus contributing to the realization of the highest volume shipment in the history of Philips Lighting DPL.
Arthur R. Tan, IMI president and chief executive officer, received the award from Elmer Pacaldo, operations director for outsource operations Asia-Pacific region of Philips Lighting DPL.
Tan said, “IMI has been serving Philips Lighting since 2007. This most recent recognition from them is a testimony to our people’s commitment to excellent customer service. We leverage our outstanding performance to expand business into other divisions of Philips.”
The awarding ceremony was also participated by members of the project team from Philips Lighting DPL and top executives of IMI including Shong Cheng Yeh, IMI chief operating officer for Asia, and the IMI Philips project team members.
