PH Stocks Continue to Slide
Local shares were down for the fourth consecutive trading day since Friday. The main board Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) dropped almost 0.46% to 3,878.44 points on Wednesday, while the wider all-shares index limited the decline to 0.05%. On sectoral indices basis, only the Services industry declined, suffering a 2.85% drop.
Trading volume reached 1.22 billion, but valued at a whopping PhP26.3 billion. There were 68 gainers against 60 losers, while 40 shares were unchanged.
