Digi and OPPO Team Up to Boost Retail Experience for Customers

Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) has collaborated with OPPO Malaysia to create the “OPPO Hub” at 29 Digi Stores across Malaysia. This move is in line with both Digi and OPPO’s commitment to enrich shoppers experience across both brands’ customer base.

The OPPO Hub features a wide range of OPPO latest smartphones, IoT devices and wearables, and is a one stop centre for customers to touch, feel and test the products before making any purchase decision. Once the MCO restrictions are lifted, customers can also engage the Digi Store Experts to learn more about OPPO’s range of products.

Digi’s Chief Sales Officer, Cheng Weng Hong said, “We are constantly finding ways to elevate our customers’ experience on the retail front, and we are honoured to launch the OPPO Hub to provide a 360° buying experience for our customers. We believe being well informed of a desired device will also have a big influence in the way a customer thinks or feels about a product and brand, and it will help our customers to make the final purchasing decision. On top of that, this partnership with OPPO also provides opportunities for Digi customers to own a 4G device easily in light of the upcoming 3G shut down by 31 December 2021.”

OPPO Malaysia’s Vice President, Garry Gong said, “Shopping in stores used to be solely driven by necessity. Today it is driven by a sense of discovery and the excitement of experiencing something new. With Digi, we are able to achieve that on an in-store level, by thoughtfully designing an enjoyable experiential journey exclusively for our fellow OPPO consumers in Digi Stores. With the launch of OPPO Hub, we expect to provide a space that allows consumers to maximise their devices via personalised tutorials by the retail staff.”
