Jollibee Foods Sets New Sales Record in Q4 2025, Caps Year with Historic Store Expansion
Jollibee Foods Corporation (PSE: JFC) closed 2025 on a high note, reporting record systemwide sales (SWS) and the largest number of gross store openings in its history, according to preliminary and unaudited fourth-quarter results released February 13, 2026.
Record-Breaking Fourth Quarter
Fourth-quarter SWS — which measures total consumer sales across company-owned and franchised stores — climbed approximately 12% year-on-year to an all-time high of Php122.3 billion. The performance marked the strongest fourth quarter in the company’s history, reflecting sustained demand across both Philippine and international markets.
For the full year, SWS expanded 16.6%, surpassing the company’s previously communicated growth framework and underscoring the resilience and scalability of JFC’s diversified brand portfolio.
Broad-Based Growth Across Markets
The Philippine business delivered a 9.7% increase in fourth-quarter SWS, fueled by continued strength across core brands. Jollibee posted 9.8% growth, while Mang Inasal led domestic performance with a 20.5% surge. Chowking added a 5.4% increase, highlighting the depth of the local portfolio.
Internationally, SWS rose 15.4%, driven by standout gains across multiple regions and concepts. Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia (EMEAA) Philippine brands expanded 27.7%, while Compose Coffee grew 24.2% and Highlands Coffee advanced 23.1%. Jollibee North America recorded an 18.7% increase, signaling strengthening traction in priority global markets.
Improving Same-Store Sales Trends
Same-store sales growth (SSSG) pointed to improving demand quality. The Philippines posted 5.0% SSSG in Q4, while international operations delivered 5.5%, with all regions contributing positively. EMEAA grew 11.9%, and North America rose 12.6%, while China stabilized at 5.0%.
Within the coffee segment, Highlands Coffee delivered a robust 13.6% SSSG, reinforcing its leadership position in Vietnam. Milksha recorded 7.4% growth, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf maintained positive comparable-store momentum.
Brand and Portfolio Highlights
Jollibee remains the anchor of the Philippine business, contributing roughly 62% of domestic SWS and more than one-third of total global SWS. Its nationwide footprint of over 1,300 stores continues to drive consistent mid-single-digit same-store growth.
Mang Inasal emerged as one of the strongest domestic growth engines, supported by its highly franchised model, with 98% of stores under franchise operations — enabling capital-efficient expansion and strong unit economics.
In China, Yonghe King recorded a milestone December, opening 32 franchised stores under its Super Value format. Improved payback periods of under two years reflect strengthening operating fundamentals and renewed management confidence in the market.
Highlands Coffee’s trajectory stands out within JFC’s international portfolio. Since JFC acquired a 50% stake in 2012, the brand has expanded from 56 stores to nearly 1,000, establishing itself as Vietnam’s leading coffee chain and a potential billion-dollar brand.
North America also posted notable milestones. Jollibee’s loyalty app surpassed one million registered users, systemwide sales exceeded USD500 million, and average daily sales reached approximately USD15,000 per store — highlighting rising brand engagement.
Meanwhile, Tim Ho Wan strengthened its contribution following JFC’s full acquisition in January 2025. Systemwide sales expanded more than sixfold year-on-year to approximately Php8.1 billion, reflecting the inclusion of global operations and accelerating brand scale. The opening of its first company-operated North American store in Irvine, California, marked another step in its international expansion.
Historic Network Expansion
JFC ended 2025 with 10,341 stores worldwide, up 5.9% from the previous year and representing the highest level of gross store openings in company history. Of the total footprint, 3,504 stores are in the Philippines and 6,837 are international, demonstrating balanced growth across geographies.
The international network includes 576 stores in China, 348 in North America, and 437 across EMEAA, alongside nearly 1,000 Highlands Coffee outlets, over 1,000 CBTL locations, 357 Milksha branches, 2,972 Compose Coffee stores, and 83 Tim Ho Wan restaurants.
Profitability Momentum
Preliminary results indicate mid-teens EBITDA growth in the fourth quarter, supported by operating efficiencies and disciplined cost management. Net operating income exceeded internal guidance, suggesting resilient margins alongside strong topline expansion.
Richard Shin, Chief Financial and Risk Officer and CEO of Jollibee Group’s International Business, said the fourth-quarter results reflect accelerating sales momentum and the strength of the company’s diversified brand portfolio.
“As we close the year, we remain focused on sustaining demand momentum while expanding our global footprint in a disciplined manner,” Shin said.
JFC expects to release its audited full-year 2025 financial results by March 2026.
