Century Pacific Food Earns Spot on Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2025 List for Second Consecutive Year

Century Pacific Food, Inc. (PSE: CNPF) has once again secured a place on Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2025 list, marking its second straight year of recognition. The distinction highlights the company’s continued efforts to build a purpose-driven organization anchored on strong values, employee development, and meaningful impact.

As one of the Philippines’ leading food manufacturers, CNPF employs approximately 30,000 individuals across its operations. The recognition reflects the company’s sustained focus on fostering a workplace culture that empowers employees while advancing its mission of delivering affordable nutrition to Filipino families.

CNPF President and Chief Executive Officer Ted Po described the award as a testament to the people behind the organization. He emphasized that when employees rally around a shared and inspiring mission, they are able to create measurable and positive impact—not only within the company, but also in the communities it serves. He added that the organization remains committed to cultivating a collaborative environment where employees understand how their work contributes to improving access to affordable, quality food.

CNPF’s portfolio includes established household brands such as Century Tuna, 555, Argentina, and Birch Tree, alongside fast-growing names like Coco Mama, Goodest, and unMeat. Today, its products are present in nine out of ten Filipino households and distributed across more than 800,000 retail points nationwide. Operating within the consumer staples sector, the company plays a critical role in making healthier food choices both accessible and affordable.

According to George Wang III, Vice President for Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, the company’s culture is shaped by a deep sense of excellence, compassion, and humility. He noted that employees are encouraged not only to pursue professional growth but also personal development, reinforcing a culture where teamwork and shared values guide business success.

Central to this strategy are initiatives that support leadership development, employee engagement, sustainability, and volunteerism. Programs such as Century Leadership University and 7 Habits Training aim to strengthen leadership capabilities, while Century Cares and the Kain Po feeding program reflect the company’s social responsibility commitments. The Sibol Awards further recognize business units that champion sustainability initiatives within the organization.

CNPF also continues to expand livelihood and equal opportunity initiatives. In 2025, the company strengthened its Dual Tech Partnership program, offering internships to technical scholars from marginalized communities with pathways to full-time employment. By year-end, 46 trainees had been deployed across four business units, reinforcing CNPF’s inclusive hiring efforts.

For long-serving employees like Janina Mendoza, Assistant Vice President of the Tuna Export Business, the company’s culture has been instrumental in shaping both personal and organizational growth. With over two decades at CNPF, she describes the company as more than a workplace—calling it a community where shared aspirations translate into collective success and global expansion.

The Forbes World’s Best Employers list is based on independent global surveys of more than 300,000 employees across over 50 countries. In 2025, Century Pacific Food, Inc. was one of only nine Philippine companies included in the prestigious ranking, reinforcing its standing as an employer of choice both locally and internationally.
