Selloff Continues

Manila—(PHStocks)—Philippine stocks continue their downtrend as investors carry on with their repositioning. The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) even fell below the 6,900 mark, before recovering to close trading at 6,903.79, down by 0.64% or 44.73 points.

Only the Industrial sector recovered from the previous day’s bloodbath, gaining 0.1% or 10.46 points.

Trading volume reached 1.78 billion, valued at PhP5.46 billion. There were 87 gainers against 98 losers, while 44 stocks were flat. Foreign buying reached PhP2.54 billion while foreign selling was PhP2.76 billion.
