Security Bank Opens More Branches

Security Bank (PSE: SECB) continues to bring its services closer to more customers through an ongoing nationwide branch expansion program. More branches have opened to the public in key locations in the fourth quarter of 2010 to bring its total network to 130 branches nationwide.

The Bank earlier opened EDSA Kalookan Branch to serve the manufacturing industries within this thriving business district. Two other new branches opened in Baliwag, Bulacan and in the commercial center of Eastwood City in Quezon City.

SBC Baliwag Branch was formally inaugurated with a traditional Lion Dance to entertain guests and invite good luck and good fortune to its customers. President and CEO, Alberto Villarosa led the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with clients and principal sponsors from the local government and business sector.

Eastwood City Branch on the other hand, caters to the business and commercial establishments and the affluent residents of this fast-paced technology-driven market within the cosmopolitan community.

A simple blessing ceremony kicked off the auspicious opening of the Eastwood City Branch graced by the Bank’s senior management team led by Patricia May Siy, Executive Vice President and Group Head of the Commercial and Retail Banking Segment to welcome customers to the new branch.

Other branches that recently opened are located at the Fort Bonifacio Global City, the emerging new business district with two branches—SBC Infinity Towers Branch and SBC Net Cube to complement the existing branches within the complex. Two other provincial sites have become operational in Koronadal City, South Cotabato and Catarman, Northern Samar.
