PSEi Flat Despite Brisk Trading
Manila—(PHStocks)—The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index finished almost flat Thursday, 20 November, despite brisk trading valued at PhP21.1 billion. The PSEi was down by 0.007% or just 0.54 points, closing at 7,268.95.
The indices were likewise little changed. The Holding Firms segment shed 0.21%—the biggest for today on sector basis, the the gainers were led by Industrial and Services indices—both gaining only 0.15%.
Foreign buying reached PhP13.76 billion, while foreign selling totaled PhP8.55 billion, for a net inflow of PhP5.21 billion. There were 84 gainers against 98 losers, while 42 stocks were flat.
