PH Stocks Remain in Red

Main shares in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Index (PSEi) failed to rally on Monday, closing the day at 2.24% or 88.87 points down to 3,881.47. Biggest losers are the Financials and Industrial counters, declining 3.06% and 3.02%, respectively. The Holding Firms and Property indices did not fare as well, sliding 2.28% and 2.26%, respectively.

About 7.2 billion shares were traded, valued at PhP5.11 billion. Losers outnumber gainers more than threefold, while 35 stocks remain flat.
