PH Stocks Recover Slightly

Manila—(PHStocks)—The Philippine stock market was up for a second day on window dressing and bargain hunting,

The mainboard Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) went up by 0.7% or 43.93 points to close the week at 6359.62 – slightly up from last week’s finish of 6,339.26, but down from Monday’s (24 March) close of 6,400.67.

Except for the Financials, which shed 0.14%, all counters were in the green, led by the Property sector’s 1.59% gain. The wider All Shares index rose by 0.55%.

Value turnover reached PhP9.3 billion on 1.5 billion shares traded. There were 82 gainers against 60 losers, while 52 stocks were flat.
