PH Stocks Maintain Uptrend
Local shares continue their wave of growth Monday, with the main board Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) further gaining 1.93% or 79.89 points to close at 4,209.43 points. The all-shares index likewise continued its growth, pulling in 1.42% to reach 3,086.73 points.
All counters were on track as well, led by the Financials and the Industrial sectors, gaining 2.15% and 2.08%, respectively. Trading volume reached 1.575 billion, valued at PhP5.82 billion, on 18,715 trades. There were 102 gainers against 36 losers, while 39 stocks remained flat.
