PH Stocks End Lower

Manila—(PHStocks)—Philippine stocks closed the week on a lower note amid the continuous uncertainty in global markets. The mainboard Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index slid by 018% to close the session at 7,103.55 today, October 25.

While the Services, Holding Firms and Industrial indices managed to maintain their levels, the rest of the counters fell, led by the Financials, which dropped by 0.81%.

Trading was heavy, with volume reaching 20.65 billion, valued at PhP6.47 billion. Foreign buying reached PhP3.1 billion and foreign selling was PhP2.96 billion, for a net buy of PhP140 million. There were 84 gainers against 93 losers, while 37 stocks were flat.
