PH Stocks Climb

Manila—(PHStocks)—After the sellout in the previous trading day, Philippine stocks recovered and climbed back to 6,600 levels Tuesday, 15 April.

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose by 0.49% or 32.11 points to close the session at 6,621.66. All counters finished in the green, led by the Financials, which gained 1.17%; followed by Mining and Oil, which edged higher by 0.85%. The wider All Shares index went up by 0.33%.

Value turnover reached PhP7 billion on 4 billion traded shares. There were 107 gainers against 70 losers, while 44 stocks were flat.
