Mindanao Blackout Delays Aboitiz Power’s 300MW Coal Plant
Aboitiz Power Corp. (PSE: AP) said the recent Mindanao blackout has disrupted the commissioning schedule of its 300MW coal-fired power plant in Davao City, particularly the Unit 2 of Therma South Inc. (TSI).
This will delay the commercial operations of TSI Unit 2 by approximately 10 months or until February 2016.
