Megaworld Celebrates 20th Listing Anniversary

Makati—(PHStocks)—Megaworld Corp. (PSE: MEG) celebrated its 20th listing anniversary with a bell ringing ceremony at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). The property company listed its shares at the PSE on June 15, 1994.

Aside from its listing anniversary,  Megaworld also commemorated its 25th founding anniversary.

In PSE Chairman Jose T. Pardo’s remarks read by PSE President and CEO Hans B. Sicat during the bell ringing ceremony, he said, “Megaworld has certainly gone a long way since it went public in 1994. From a company that was initially known for one of its landmark project, the Eastwood City, Megaworld now has a portfolio of developments that has helped it strengthen its foothold in the property industry. All these contributed to a solid track record in terms of liquidity and market capitalization that earned it a place in the market’s main barometer, the PSEi.”

“As Megaworld continually comes up with various property developments, it contributes not only to enriching the real estate industry but also to strengthening investor interest and confidence in our country,” Sicat added.
