Manila Water Appoints Cruzaba as New CFO
The Board of Directors of Manila Water Co. Inc. (PSE: MWC) approved today the appointment of Ma. Cecilia T. Cruzabra as Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Treasurer, Group Director for Corporate Finance and Strategy, and Compliance Officer effective November 1, 2018.
Cruzabra will replace Luis Juan B. Oreta, who has been the company’s CFO, Treasurer, and Compliance Officer since January 1, 2009. Oreta has also been appointed Enterprise Support Services Chief Operating Officer early this year. He continued to serve in these positions beyond his normal retirement in 2016 and has completed his two year extension this September. He was the recipient of the ING-FINEX CFO of the Year Award in 2015.
Cruzabra is currently an Executive Director and Treasurer of Ayala Corporation since January 1, 2014. Currently, she also holds the following positions: Treasurer of ACST Business Holdings Inc., AC Infrastructure Holdings Corp., AC Ventures Holding Corp., Ayala Foundation Inc., Azalea International Venture Partners Ltd, Lagdigan Land Corp., Liontide Holdings Inc., and Asiacom Philippines Inc.; Chief Finance Officer of Ayala Group Club Inc.; Chief Finance Officer, Treasurer and Director of Philwater Holdings Co. Inc.; Director and Treasurer of Michigan Holdings Inc., Pameka Holdings Inc. and Technopark Land Inc.; Director of AYC Finance Ltd, AYC Holdings Ltd, MCX Tollway Inc. and Zapfam Inc.
As new CFO effective November 1, 2018, Cruzabra will be a key member of the company’s senior leadership team.
