DFNN 1H 2015 Revenue Surges 180%

Taguig—(PHStocks)—DFNN Inc. (PSE: DFNN) has reported a consolidated revenue of Php124.86 million for the first half of 2015, a 179.4% increase from the PhP44.67 million posted in the same period last year. Additionally, DFNN reported a comprehensive income of PhP2.83 million, a notable turn around from a loss of PhP26.48 million posted in the first half of 2014.

DFNN’s robust performance is a continuation of its improving financial results since 2014. The rise in revenue is mainly due to the increase in service fees brought about by a new source of revenue from business process outsourcing services related to the gaming industry, and the rise in commission income from licensed gaming operations with the state gaming regulator.

Last year, the company began expanding its gaming suite, particularly the number of terminals and locations of Instawin, its electronic gaming machine (EGM) offering. Further development into greenfield areas outside Metro Manila, likewise, contributed to the increase in revenue.

DFNN remains on track to considerably strengthen its EGM footprint and triple the number of its terminals from 2014 by the end of the year. Set to provide the best gaming suite to its users, Instawin’s games include those from popular developers such as: PlayTech, SG8, PlayNGo and SHL.

“We are very pleased with our first-half results,” Ricardo Banaag, DFNN COO, states. “The financial performance of the company is confirmation of the success of our strategy and implementation. We aim to sustain this growth through the second half as we launch our other gaming offerings.”
