DENR Gives Green Light to SOLID Cement Capacity Expansion

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has granted the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) that covers, among others, the proposed expanded/new production line at the cement plant of SOLID Cement Corp., corresponding to an additional capacity of approximately one million five hundred thousand metric tons per year (1.5 MMTPY).

SOLID is a subsidiary of Cemex Holdings Philippines Inc. (PSE: CHP). This ECC amends previously issued environmental compliance certificates for the existing cement plant of SOLID located in Antipolo City, Rizal.
