Concepcion Industrial Forms IoT Strategic Alliance with EMS Firm Ionics
Makati—(PHStocks)—Concepcion Industrial Corp. (PSE: CIC) has formalized a strategic alliance with EMS firm Ionics Inc. to develop the next generation of smart products using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This will allow the leading provider of consumer lifestyle and building and industrial solutions to develop a new range of smart solutions for their consumers.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Raul Joseph Concepcion, CEO of CIC, and Larry Qua, president, chairman and CEO of Ionics.

To be able to realize this vision, we are forming a strategic alliance with Ionics to help us develop and apply the technology to our locally manufactured appliances,” said Concepcion. “We chose Ionics as a strategic partner as we share the same vision of building better lives.”
