Carmen Copper Announces $26.18M Shipment for February

Carmen Copper Corp., the operating subsidiary of Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corp. (PSE: AT), has announced total mill throughput of 1,049,000 tonnes ore at an average grade of 0.3% Cu for February. This resulted in the production of 8,904 DMT of copper concentrate with an average grade of 27.24% Cu, 2.48g/t Au and 24.76g/t Ag. The ore was sourced from the Lutopan pit.

One single shipment of 10,086 DMT of copper concentrate was made during the month through MRI Trading AG to a Korean smelter. The concentrate averaged 27.37% Cu, 2.35g/t Au and 24.3g/t Ag. The payable metal content of the concentrate was 5,865,000lbs copper and 684 oz gold after deducting treatment and refining charges.

The estimated value of the shipment was $26.18 million, based on provisional prices of $4.30/lb copper and $1,408/oz gold.
