BOP Posts Deficit in March
The country’s balance of payments position swung to a deficit in March after three consecutive months of being in surplus, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said.
The BOP deficit amounted to $244 million in March, narrower than the $340-million deficit in the same month last year. However, the latest figure is a reversal of the $985-million surplus in February.
