A Brown Announces Groundbreaking of Bulk Water Supply Project

Cagayan De Oro City—(PHStocks)—A Brown Co. Inc. (PSE: BRN) has announced the groundbreaking of bulk water supply project of its subsidiary AB Bulk Water Co. Inc. (ABWCI) for the Municipality of Opol, Misamis Oriental.

This project is the company’s first venture in bulk water supply thru its wholly-owned subsidiary ABWCI. The project calls for the development of Lumayagan River located in Sitio Salawaga, Barangay Tingalan, Municipality of Opol, Misamis Oriental as a source of potable water. It aims to provide bulk water supply by constructing a water treatment facility with initial capacity of about 15 million liters per day (MLD). Other potential service areas include the neighboring municipalities of Opol.
