“Fans fantasize about Alden and Yaya Dub. Now you can be Alden… through the mobile game,” says Jenny Ferre, SVP of TAPE Inc., the producers of Eat Bulaga. The game is tightly integrated into Eat Bulaga’s top—rating kalyeserye. “The game is part of the story,” she adds.

With every new episode, global phenomenon AlDub sets new records on Twitter. On October 24, it set the world record of garnering 41 million tweets in a single day. That’s more tweets than the FIFA World Cup, the Papal visit or any Pacquiao fight ever.
AlDub now looks to set a new record in the mobile games space with the launch of “AldubYou: Ang Hamon ni Lola Nidora.”
Mobile games have driven the growth of Xurpas this year. In its Q3 disclosure, Xurpas already reported revenues surpassing the half a billion—peso mark year-to-date. Mobile games represent the largest revenue contributor to the company’s business.
“AldubYou is just the start of the rich portfolio of digital content we will be building for AlDub,” says Nix.
